TERMS OF SERVICE — MeyerLive3D

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using MeyerLive3D.
1. ACCEPTANCE
By creating an account and ticking the acceptance checkbox, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
We may update these Terms. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you may close your account at any time.
2. THE SERVICE
MeyerLive3D is a real-time, web-based multiplayer version of the traditional dice bluffing game "Meyer". The service is provided as-is and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.
The service operates on two tiers:
- Free (ad-supported): Available to all users with zero match credits. Display advertising is shown.
- Premium (credit-based): Active when your account holds one or more match credits. Advertising is suppressed.
3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are below the age of digital consent in your country (which may be higher than 16), you must obtain parental or guardian consent.
4. ACCOUNT AND SECURITY
You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, as login codes are sent by email. You must not share accounts or use another person's account.
5. PREMIUM CREDITS
- Credits are purchased in packs (currently 200 credits for €3.99) - if you signed up with a valid reference code the credits are 220 for €3.99.
- Credits (1 credit pr. game) are consumed when you participate in a STARTED premium-track game (all active paying players in the same room each lose 1 credit per started game).
- By purchasing and using credits, you expressly consent to the immediate commencement of the service and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the credits are consumed.
- Credits are non-refundable once consumed, except where required by applicable consumer law.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Credits expire upon account deletion. No refund is issued for unused credits at the time of account deletion, except where required by applicable consumer law.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not handle, store, or process your credit card information. All transactions are securely processed by Stripe. By purchasing credits, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service at https://stripe.com/legal/end-users.
6. ADVERTISING
Free-tier users will see display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. You acknowledge that ad content is controlled by third parties and may vary. Ad preferences and opt-out options are governed by those third parties' policies.
7. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You may not:
a) Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools to gain an unfair advantage.
b) Harass, threaten, or abuse other players.
c) Initiate fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting us.
d) Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the service's security measures.
e) Impersonate other users or the operator.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or deletion without refund.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The rules of the game "Meyer" are part of the traditional public domain and are not subject to copyright. However, the following are proprietary to ownwer of ocimvm.com and protected by copyright:
- The MeyerLive3D application code (frontend and backend)
- The 3D graphics, animations, and visual design
- The user interface layout and branding
All rights reserved. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from proprietary elements without written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as your display name/nickname or profile image), but by using the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and use such content solely to operate the service.
9. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The operator does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free service.
- The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
- Total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Norwegian consumer law or the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
10. TERMINATION
You may close your account at any time using the in-app deletion tool. We may suspend or terminate your account with immediate effect for violations of these Terms, with or without prior notice.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through direct contact at admin@ocimvm.com. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the ordinary courts of Norway.
EU consumers also retain the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
12. COOKIE NOTICE
Cookie Policy: We use strictly necessary cookies/local storage to maintain your login session. With your consent, third-party ad networks may set advertising cookies and collect device identifiers to serve ads on the free tier; premium (credit-holding) accounts see no ads. You can manage these preferences via your device settings or the app's consent modal. The first time the app is opened, a consent banner (CMP) is presented - advertising scripts are blocked until you complete a choice via "Accept" or "Manage Preferences".
