COOKIE & CONSENT POLICY — MeyerLive3D

1. WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS
This policy explains the cookies, local storage, and similar device identifiers used by
MeyerLive3D, and how you can accept, refuse, or adjust them at any time. The first time you open
the app, a consent banner from our Consent Management Platform (CMP) is shown. Non-essential
cookies and advertising scripts are blocked until you make a choice.
2. HOW WE ASK FOR CONSENT
We use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform registered under the IAB Transparency &
Consent Framework (TCF v2.2), together with Google Consent Mode v2.
- If you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, advertising and analytics storage are
DENIED by default and nothing non-essential loads until you grant consent (prior opt-in).
- Elsewhere, you may opt out at any time using the "Cookie settings" control.
Your choice is stored on your device and, once you are signed in, also recorded against your
account so we can demonstrate compliance (GDPR Art. 7(1)). You can reopen the consent panel at any
time via "Manage cookie preferences" in the legal panel or the "Cookie settings" entry point.
3. CATEGORIES OF STORAGE
a) Strictly necessary (always on, no consent required)
- Session/login token (browser sessionStorage) to keep you signed in.
- In-progress game session recovery so a page reload does not drop you from a match.
- Stripe checkout redirect (first-party) and LiveKit real-time media connection — both are
essential to deliver a feature you actively requested and set no advertising cookies.
b) Advertising (consent required)
- Google AdSense (web) — serves banner ads and may set cookies / read device identifiers.
- Monetag / PropellerAds (web) — serves an in-page banner and may set its own identifiers.
- Google AdMob (mobile app) — serves native banners; governed by Google's UMP consent form.
These load ONLY after you grant advertising consent. Premium (credit-holding) accounts see no
ads at all, regardless of consent.
c) Analytics (not currently active)
- We do not currently use analytics or measurement cookies, and the analytics option is not
shown in the consent panel. This category is reserved for possible future use; if it is
introduced, it will remain denied until you grant analytics consent.
4. WITHDRAWING OR CHANGING CONSENT
You may withdraw or change consent as easily as you gave it, at any time, via "Manage cookie
preferences". Withdrawing advertising consent immediately removes the ad scripts from the page.
